RULES AND REGULATIONS

Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge is a simulation game that allows users to show their skills in creating virtual basketball teams consisting of players who take part in the 2009-10 Euroleague. Each Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Challenge team will consist of 10 players at a time. A Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge team's weekly score will be based on the official index rating of all 10 players and the success of their teams in real Euroleague games. Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge will be played during Euroleague Regular Season and the Euroleague Top 16. The weekly and cumulative scores of all participating Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge teams will determine rankings.

VALIDITY

Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge will start on October 21 and will last until the final date of the Euroleague Top 16, on March 11, 2010. Fans may register teams at any time from the launch of the 2009-10 Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge through the Regular Season and the Top 16.

INSCRIPTION RESTRICTIONS

Completion of the official registration form and acceptance of the legal terms and conditions, both in English, will be required to take part in the Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge. Users will be prompted to register, accept all rules and confirm receipt of their user name and password by e-mail before taking part in the game. Euroleague employees and all paid Euroleague collaborators may play the game but are not eligible to win any prizes. Should any of the above-mentioned win a prize, this would go to the next-ranked team.

COMPETITION SYSTEM

Each registered user may create ten (10) teams only.

Each team will have an initial budget of 500 credits and must put together a team with ten (10) players distributed as follows:

2 point guards
4 shooting guards and small forwards
4 power forwards and centers

A team with less than ten (10) players on its roster once the weekly playing cycle begins will not be a valid team. Such teams will receive no score for that week. Each team will be allowed to substitute three (3) players per week. The substitution period begins shortly after all weekly Euroleague games are complete and will expire one (1) hour before the start of the next week's first game. Unlimited changes will be allowed between the end of the Regular Season and the start of the Top 16. Once the Top 16 starts, a limit of three (3) changes will be allowed between weeks, the same as during the Regular Season.

SCORING

Each official Euroleague player will get his own Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge score for each and every Euroleague game in which he officially plays one second or more. His score will be the equivalent of his official Euroleague statistical index rating in that game, plus a 10% bonus when his Euroleague team wins. The bonus will not be applied if a player receives an index rating of zero (0) or lower. The index rating is calculated as follows:

Index rating = (PTS + ASS + REB + BLK + STL + FLD + FT1M + FG2M + FG3M - TO - BLKA - FOULS - FT1A - FG2A - FG3A)

PTS = points scored, ASS = assists, REB = rebounds, BLK = blocks made, STL = steals, FLD = fouls drawn, FT1M = free throws made, FG2M = two-point shots made, FG3M = three-point shots made, TO = turnovers, BLKA = blocks against, FOULS = fouls committed, FT1A = free throws attempted, FG2A = two-point shots attempted, FG3A = three-point shots attempted.

Players who do not appear in a game will receive a Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Challenge score of zero (0) for that week.

The score of each Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge team is obtained adding the individual scores of its ten (10) players, negative scores included. Each Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge team will have a weekly score and, starting the second week, an accumulated score. New weekly and accumulated standings for all Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge teams will be published after the conclusion of each week of Euroleague games.

PLAYER COSTS, BUYING AND SELLING

A starting budget of 500 credits for the purchase of 10 players is available to each new Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge team.

An individual purchase price in credits has been established before the season for approximately 275 players total, an average of 11 for each Euroleague team. New players may be added to the Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge list of available players as they are officially registered, confirmed eligible and/or play in the Euroleague.

The price of players may rise or fall after the season begins, depending on their average index ratings in Euroleague games and the success of their teams. Index rating points will be applied to each player's price in credits at a rate of one to four (1 index rating point = 4 credits). The same rate will be applied to the 10% bonus for players with positive index ratings in weeks when their teams win official Euroleague games. A player's price may not go up or down more than 15% from one week to the next, although his average index rating may keep his price rising or falling. No player's price can fall below 5 credits. There is no maximum price in credits for a player.

Before the start of the Euroleague season, players may be bought and sold freely up to the limit of 10 players and 500 total credits per team.

After the start of the season, no more than three (3) players per Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge team may be bought or sold, according to their current price in credits.

If fewer than 500 credits are spent at the time of creating a Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge team, the extra credits remain available for use in the future. The worth of a Euroleague Basketball Sportingbet Fantasy Challenge team may rise above 500 points due to increases in the value of that team's players.
